Microsoft is rolling out the Surface Pro driver update gradually via automatic updates, which is probably a warning that they should not be rushed into. If the Microsoft Surface network adapter is missing, you can try performing a network reset. Another way to solve the problem is by using an older version of the Wi-Fi driver.

241.6.139.0 resolves an issue where the CPU will throttle down to. The best way to fix this issue is to update your drivers with reliable driver updater software.Lastly, Surface Pro 6 is getting a fix for a CPU throttling issue: Windows Update History Name

The updates aimed at the Surface Pro 4, Surface Pro (2017), Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 1 and 2, and Surface Book are mainly intended to improve wireless connectivity. So there you have my 'thesis like' story! Again, thank YOU for your input.Microsoft has released new drivers for older generations of the Surface Pro, Surface Laptop and Surface Book running Windows update or later. The driver MSI and ZIP files include all of the drivers and firmware needed to deploy custom images of Windows on your Surface devices. More PROACTION would have been in their best interest! I should have gone with my gut feel, when I got lots of vague answers to my questions when researching for this purchase. This firmware and driver package contains drivers for all of the components in the Surface 3 Wi-Fi, as well as updates to the system firmware that have been released via Windows Update. To expect users to take the hit because they chose to use the SQ1 ARM based architecture is a shot to their foot. Clearly the issue is Microsoft not having covered all if not most of their bases before releasing the MS Surface X Pro. Including applications from Adobe, which has also always been a rock solid application provider. Always rock solid! My experiences with other application incompatibilities on this MS Surface X Pro have been very frustrating. My experiences with HP drivers for MANY years have been positive and successful. I will do that this week (hopefully with no snags) and look for a real computer. Whew! I explained my desire and I was told I can return it at any Best Buy store until as long as I have a receipt, which I do.
Because I bought the unit in a Best Buy store and not online, THAT representative transferred me to a different Best Buy representative. Because I bought the unit at a Best Buy, the MS Representative transferred me to a Best Buy Marketing Representative. This was another 1/2 hour exchange on top of the 2.5 hours. Your Surface Pro should start up and enter a screen that looks like the image below. Whilst still holding the Volume Up button, press the power button. Hold down the ‘Volume Up’ button on your device. Make sure your Surface Pro 3 is turned off. When I expressed my desire to simply return the computer, he took it kindly, and transferred me to a MS Marketing representative. Reboot your Surface Pro into UEFI Settings Screen. When all was said and done, it was clear that the SQ1 ARM Processor incompatibilities WON the battle. I think he tried to find 32bit drivers as well.

After trying SEVERAL things, including downloading HP Smart, he was not able to install drivers for an HP OfficeJet 100 Mobile Printer nor an HP Officejet 250 All-in-one Portable Printer. I even gave him remote access to my computer, so he could drive and facilitate the process. Last week on Christmas day, I was on the phone with an MS Support Representative for 2.5 hours. Thank you kindly for your input and suggestions! Much appreciated! Below is what has transpired since my post.
